Welcome to the Crafty Cowrie! I hope you find something of interest here!

Hi, I'm Lesley and I sell my cross stitch designs here at The Crafty Cowrie!

I've been a cross stitcher for around 20 years and my stitching world expanded enormously when I discovered the world of stitching designs online! I became particularly fascinated with biscornus and love to explore different biscornu designs, how they work and how they fit together. Playing with these designs has led me to start designing my own and I'm now selling my designs here!

I also have some larger designs which I will add to the shop when they're ready.

And as for cowries - cowries are tiny shells which I collected as a child when I went to the beach near my grandparents house. I still search for them when I get the opportunity. They are beautiful little shells and importantly are associated with many happy memories!

I'm Scottish but now live in the middle of England with my family. I also crochet and may in future include some crochet designs in The Crafty Cowrie!
